Embark on a journey across Texas or the United States without leaving Your campus! This hands-on session is designed for elementary educators eager to dynamically blend geography and social studies instruction. Explore TEKS-based geography skills and deepen Your students’ understanding of history, citizenship, culture, and economics through maps. This session involves a lot of movement, as participants will walk and interact directly with giant floor maps, so wearing or bringing socks is strongly encouraged.
